PENNY'S PAPER CRAFTY CHALLENGE #419

Hi Everybody!

We have a new challenge starting at Penny's today, and since our last challenge was delayed, we have two challenges on the go at the moment, so be sure to enter your creations in both to double your chances of winning!

This week we have another fantastic prize up for grabs!

I have used an image called A Kids View BBQ, and coloured it with markers.

My papers and the little sentiment tags are from the Heartfelt Creations All Geared Up pack.  The stitched black bits are American Crafts.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #372: BIRTHDAY CREATIONS

Good Morning Everybody!

We have a new challenge starting at The Paper Shelter today.  Your challenge for this week, is to make BIRTHDAY CREATIONS

I've gone with a child's birthday card this week.  I created the base card with my Cameo and inserted a piece of Acetate to mount the image on.  The scene behind him is on the back (inside) of the card, and the character is on the front.

This adorable little guy is part of a set called Happy Times.  The set includes our little guy in 3 different poses, so it's fantastic value for money!  I have coloured my character in markers and cut him out, then stuck him onto the Acetate.  The sky and grass behind him are from the Find It Trading Funky Nanna & Grandpa pack.  I cut the grass on my Cameo.

The rainbow paper is from the DCWV Rainbow Splash pack.

Up for grabs this week is a $30 gift voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your creation (it could be the black & white digi, the pre-coloured digi or paper), or 3 digi images of your choice if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

This absolutely stunning image is from Faery Ink.  It's called Believe in Yourself.  She was the February One Day Fae Giveaway.  

I have coloured the image with markers and cut it out using a Spellbinders die.  My paper is from the 13@rts Vintage Summer pack.  I've added a strip of lace and 2 pearl swirls.  My flowers are Prima and KaiserCraft.  I used a Marianne Design die for the little blossoms.

I've used a cute little image called Cheeky Monkey, and coloured the image with Promarkers.  

I've used:

Brown: Burnt Sienna; Caramel; Sandstone
Pink (Ears & tummy: Sandstone; Blush; Pale Pink
Purple: Purple; Amethyst; Orchid
Yellow: Pumpkin; Sunflower; Lemon
Blue: Azure; Sky Blue; Arctic Blue
Green: Forest Green; Bright Green; Leaf Green
and for the wheels: Cool Greys 5 & 3, with a dot of Violet in the centres

For my shaped card, I typed up HAPPY BIRTHDAY in my Cameo software and cut the base card and it's 4 layers on the Cameo.  The lego paper is from the Reminisce Block Party 2 pack.  I've added a cupcake and balloons (Creative Mates dimensional stickers)

I thought I'd just include a pic against a coloured background, in case you battle to pick up the shape against a white one.

I've used one of the super fun images from Doctor Digi's, called Fast Food Frankie.  I have coloured the image with markers, and drawn in a bit of a background for him.

My papers are from the Your Next Stamp For The Boys pack.  I typed up the sentiment and cut it out using a KaiserCraft die, which I also used to frame the wine goodies by Jolee's.  The pizza slices are Dress It Up Buttons.  I've added a sentiment by Dovecraft and a few pearls.

We're feeling the love at Digi Doodle Studios this month, and celebrating a brand new Love & Friendship set of images, perfect for all your love, Valentine's, Anniversary and even friendship projects!

I have used Close To My Heart on my card.  I have coloured the image with markers, cut it out and then placed it onto a Spellbinders die cut frame

My papers are from the Maja Design Denim & Friends pack.  I've added a strip of Simplicity lace and made a big bow with it.  My sentiment is cut from a Spellbinders die, and the little hanging heart from a Memory Box die.  My flowers are Green Tara.

Hello Everybody!

I have used a fun image from Cute As A Button Stamps.  It's called Strawberry Jam, and it comes with the sentiment.  I have coloured the image with markers and cut it out with a blade, then stuck it onto a die cut frame (Spellbinders).  My papers are from the Bo Bunny Family Recipes pack.  

I did a 2nd die cut frame with plain white cardstock, and die cut my sentiment with a stitched edge die by Poppy Crafts.  I've added a strip of lace and some flowers (Blossoms by Vivaldi, 49 and Market, Little Birdie).  The apron and cooking goodies are all Jolee's.

Our challenge for you at The Paper Shelter this week, is:

LETTERS OR NUMBERS

I decided to go with a male card this week, using one of the fantastic newer images, called Washing Dishes.  I have coloured the image with markers and added in a little background for him.

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Everyday heroes pack.  I've used a Spellbinders die for the sentiment at the bottom, and American Crafts tile stickers for the numbers.  I've added a little gem corner design and a few little pearls and fed three hemp cords through the eyelets at the top, just to add something a little different.
