THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #523: AUTUMN COLOURS

Good Morning lovely crafters!

Autumn is such a beautiful time of year.  I especially love it, down here in Tasmania, because we have actual seasons, and the countryside is spectacular in Autumn.  Spring is starting for me down here, which is equally beautiful!  In honour of all our Northern Hemisphere followers, our theme for the week at The Paper Shelter is to use

AUTUMN COLOURS

I've used one of our newer images for this one.  The image is called Would You Buy Some Flowers?  

I have coloured the image with Copics, and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.  I've used another die from the set, for the sentiment, which is a Clear Impressions stamp, from the In Bloom collection.  I've inked the edges of both die cuts.

My papers are from the Echo Park I Love Family paper pack.  

The doily was crocheted by my mother.  I've cut it in half, to use the two halves separately.  I've also added a strip of Ruby Rock It lace, and 49 and Market flowers.  To finish off, I've added two little Fancy Pants Designs puffy dots.

It's been so great to make a card with one of these cuties.  I have so many in my stash, but never seem to use them.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #521: CHARMING

Good Morning lovely crafters!

This week at The Paper Shelter, we're adding charms to our projects.  The theme for the week is

CHARMING

I have built my card entirely around the wonderful camper van charm I found at a local market stall.

I chose Ready For Some Camping for this one.  I coloured the image with Copics and added in a bit of a background for her.  

My papers are from the Bo Bunny Take A Hike paper pack.  It's an old one!  I used one edge of a Spellbinders die for the dotty paper, and Creative Dies die for the tag.  I also used a Darling Doilies freebie die from a craft magazine, for the yellow doily.

I've used Simplicity ric rac ribbon for the tag, and some hemp cord for the charm.

The HAPPY TRAILS sentiment is a sticker from the PhotoPlay Camp Happy Bear paper pack, and the flowers are Prima.

Now if you're like me, you have a pile of charms, just sitting there, waiting to get onto a card, so dig one out and join us this week.

My papers and the bunting are from the Echo Park My Favorite Easter collection.  The little sentiment tag and tiny heart are from the Echo Park Little Dreamer Girl collection.  I've added multi-coloured Prima flowers, and little white I Am Roses flowers.  The picket fence is a Find It Trading Amy Design die cut, and I've used a Spellbinders die to cut out the image.

Having been chosen in June, I have the honour of Guest Designing for The Crafting Challenge for the month of August, and our sponsor for the month is

I have used an adorable image from our sponsor, called Always Time For A Cuddle.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Creative Dies circle die to cut it out.

I've used papers from 2 different paper packs for this one.  The paw print paper is from the PhotoPlay Dog Lover pack, and the other is from the Studio Light Lovely Moments pack.

I've added a strip of Birch Creative lace and I Am Roses flowers.  I've finished off with a few Doodlebug Design Inc matte sprinkles dots.
