PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #483: ANYTHING GOES

It's time for another fun challenge at Penny's, and we have two fabulous prizes up for grabs:

giving away 2 digi images

and

I've used the sweetest little image from Bugaboo, called Birthday Monkey Present.

I have coloured the image with Copics and then cut it out and mounted it to the card with puffy pads.

I've gone with a simple card design, using paper from one of my oldest paper packs: DCWV The Glitter Stack, and cut diagonal stripes.

I've added a few buttons from my stash and typed up the two little sentiments.

The team have put together such a lovely showcase for our sponsors, so do pop back to the challenge for a look.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Linda

DANCE IT OUT!

This wonderful image and sentiment come from the Dance It Out stamp set from Art Impressions.  I haven't coloured a stamped image for a very long time, and I battled again with the black ink from the stamping running when my marker touched it.  I ended up photocopying my stamped image and then colouring the photocopy.

I've used a Poppy Crafts die to cut out the image and a Paper Rose die to cut out the two tag shapes.  I've added Carta Bella enamel dots and some hemp cord.

Thanks for popping in to see my card today!

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #446: HALLOWEEN/HALLOWEEN COLOURS

Your fun theme at The Paper Shelter this week is:
HALLOWEEN/HALLOWEEN COLOURS

I've had this image for a very long time, and actually intended to cut off the tip of her hat and her broom, to use her on a non-Halloween card, just because she is so beautiful!

The image is called Zelina.

I have coloured the image with Copics.  I added a Prima Say it in Crystals dot for her necklace and used a gel pen for the chain.  The image has then been cut out and mounted to the card with puffy pads.

My papers and the fun Halloween stickers are from the Carta Bella Halloween Market paper pack.  I've added a few Jolee's spiders and made a bow with a strip of wispy stuff.

My flowers are a mix of Magnolia, Prima and Little Birdie.  I've also added a Simplicity crochet flower.  Lastly, a few more Prima Say it in Crystals dots scattered around.

We have a super prize up for grabs this week!  You could a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry, or 3 digis of your choice if you're used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

Looking forward to seeing your Halloween creations this week!

Thanks for popping in to see mine.

CARD FOR A CRAFTER

I'm sure, like me, you've found yourself frustrated by the glaring lack of images suitable for a card for a crafter.  You can find images depicting anything under the sun, but one showing what we do, is a rare gem

AND I HAVE FOUND IT!!!

I was paging through my favourite stores on Etsy and this image popped up as a 'something similar'.  A visit to the store had me jumping for joy with several images that could be used for a crafter, but this one is definitely my favourite.

The image is from Las casjitas de Elvi and it's called Girl in Scraproom.  I think you should head over and buy it RIGHT NOW!

I have coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the KaiserCraft Lady Like paper pack.  I've added a strip of cheesecloth and KaiserCraft flowers, plus two little pearl swirls.

Thanks for popping in for look today!

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS CYNTHIA BLUE BELL

This sweet image is called Cynthia Blue Bell.

I have coloured the image with Copics and then used a Spellbinders die to cut her out.

My papers are from the Maja Design Vintage Romance paper pack.  I've distressed the edges of the top paper and torn back two sections, where I've placed the small flower clusters.  My flowers are a mix of Green Tara and KaiserCraft.

I've used laser cuts from Make It Crafty and 49 and Market.  The leaf swirls from Make It Crafty have been coloured with Copics, and the sentiment from 49 and Market has been sprayed with white Gesso.

I've added a few Bella! Bling pearl swirls and a few random pearls.

We have so much going on in our Facebook group, so if you love this cutie, you should join us there, where we share lots of Digi Doodle Studios inspiration, and have a monthly album you can add your Digi Doodle Studios creations to, for an opportunity to win a free Digi Doodle.

We also run a themed monthly blog challenge, for more opportunities to win.  You don't need to use a Digi Doodle Studios image to enter this one.

Thanks so much for popping in for a look today!

PAPER NEST DOLLS ELLIE IN OZ

This beautiful image is called Ellie in Oz.  I have coloured the image with markers and then cut her out. I had originally intended to die cut a frame around her, but my darkest hair marker bled out around the bottom tip, leaving the space around her far too dark to keep.

My papers are from the 13 @rts On The Wall paper pack.  I've distressed all the edges and added in a strip of lace.  The swirls are Celebr8 laser cuts sprayed with white Gesso, and the flowers are 49 and Market.

There are so many adorable images to choose from in the Paper Nest Dolls store, so you should definitely pop over for a look.

We also share lots of inspiration in our Facebook group, so join us there to see more.

Thanks for popping in for a look!
