http://pennyschallenges.blogspot.com/

It's time for another challenge at Penny's, and we have two super prizes up for grabs!

Our sponsors are:

www.bugaboostamps.com

and
https://www.disdigistamps.com/
giving a $6 store voucher to one lucky winner

The team have had the privilege of using Bugaboo images for the challenge.

I have coloured the image with markers and mounted it onto the base card with puffy pads.

My paper is from the Prima Dulce paper pack.  The starry tulle is also Prima.  I've added glittery star stickers and two laser cut corners.  The laser cuts are from Make It Crafty.  I coloured them with markers and then coated them in Stickles.

The team have put together a wonderful set of projects for this challenge, so pop back to the challenge to have a look.

PAPER NEST DOLLS GNOME SET

One of the adorable new sets available from Paper Nest Dolls is the Gnome Set

I've decided to use 3 of the images from the set to make an Anniversary card for a young couple in our family, who LOVE gardening.

I've used the boy gnome, the girl gnome and the tulips., and added in a bit of a background for them.  I've coloured the entire image with markers, and used a Poppy Crafts stitched border die to cut it out.

My papers are from the Heartfelt Creations Buttons and Blooms collection.  I've added a piece of cheesecloth behind the image and two heart cluster laser cuts, but Scrapaholics, which I've sprayed with white Gesso.

My flowers are Green Tara.  They have such a lovely variety of little flowers.  The gardening gloves and tools are Little B.

There are more images in this sweet new set, so be sure to pop over to the store to see them.

Thanks for popping over for a visit today!

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #424: HAPPY COLOURS

https://thepapershelter.blogspot.com/

Good Morning Paper Shelter lovers!

Our theme for the week is
HAPPY COLOURS!
(Nice and bright)

Several members of our family are planning babies, and I thought this would be the perfect time to make a 1st Father's Day card for one of the potential new dads - just to have on hand for when the happy time comes.

I've used Fatherly Love, and coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the Little Birdie Pretty Pastels paper pack.  I used stamps from 2 different magazine freebie sets for the sentiment as well as ek success sticko stickers.  All the other adorable baby goodies on my card are Jolee's.

So, whip out those happy, bright colours and get creating!

Up for grabs this week is a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could use the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or even the digital paper), or 3 digis of your choice if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS KOALA-FIED 2

My previous card using this wonderful set of images was quite masculine, so I decided to go with something decidedly feminine for this one.

The image is from the Koala-fied Pairables set.  It's actually a combination of three images from the set: the adorable sleeping koala, the main branch and a smaller branch with leaves, which I've used 6 times.

I've coloured the image with markers and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.  With the die in place I then inked around the image using Milled Lavender Distress Ink.

My papers are from two different paper packs: the floral from the Nicola Storr Hugs With Henry pack, and the other from the Crafter's Choice Pale Garden pack.  The fabulous leafy edges are from one Amy Design die, called Jungle Frame, which I've cut into two separate pieces.

I've added a strip of Mont Marte lace and Prima flowers.  I typed up the sentiment and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #469

https://pennyschallenges.blogspot.com/

Good Morning crafters!

We have a wonderful sponsor this fortnight, with a fabulous prize up for grabs!

I have used one of the images from the Paris Cafe Digi Bundle on my card.  I have coloured the image with markers and used a Poppy Crafts stitched edge die to cut it out.

My papers are from the Echo Park I Love Family pack.  I've used a set of Creative Expressions dotty balloon dies and stamped the sentiment directly onto the balloon.  I used a marker to lightly colour the sentiment balloon.  My flowers are 49 and Market.

We've all had such fun using these fabulous images this fortnight!  Don't miss your opportunity to win a few for yourself.

WORLD WIDE OPEN DESIGN TEAM CHALLENGE #04

https://worldwideopendesignteamchallenge.blogspot.com/

The April challenge at World Wide Open Design Team Challenge has kicked off and the team have created a beautiful assortment of inspiration using images from our exclusive sponsor  Julia Spiri.

Guest Designing this month, I used Mila on my card.

I have coloured the image with markers and then distressed and inked the edges of the my image and all my papers, using Dusty Concord Distress Ink.

My papers are from the 49 and Market Irrevocable Beauty pack.  My flowers are all 49 and Market too.

I've added two pieces of laser cut lattice (also 49 and Market).  I originally intended to keep it uncoloured, but once it was stuck down and I stepped back for a look, it looked a little washed out, so I painted it with Copic Opaque White.  I've added two wire butterflies and a few pearls.

The World Wide Open Design Team Challenge is open to anyone who serves on any design team around the world.  You can enter any project you like and use any image.

To see more from our fabulous sponsor, pop along to her store here:
