This week we're sponsored by and showcasing images from one of our favourite stores:

I have used Solitaire Saul on my card.  I have coloured the image with markers.

I've gone with a simple geometric design for my card.  My papers are from the 49 and Market Island Paradise paper pack.  The 2 sentiment sticks are from the KaiserCraft Workshop collection.  I've added a few Echo Park enamel dots.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #408: BLAST FROM THE PAST

Good Morning crafters!

We have a fun new challenge on the go for you this week!  The theme for the week is:
BLAST FROM THE PAST

You could use a really old image, or maybe something you've had in your stash for ages.  Whatever it is, let us know in your post!

I've used one of the older Paper Shelter images.  It comes in a mega pack with several images, so really good value for money.  The set is called Happy Times.  It's the 2nd time I've used one of the images from this set.  You can find my other card here, using one of the other images.

I've coloured the image with markers.

But that's not the only old thing I've used on my card!  I've also used one of my oldest Spellbinders Nestabilities dies to frame one of the papers, and added two old buttons from my stash.

My papers and sentiments are from the Echo Park Imagine That! pack.  I've threaded string through the buttons and tied it off.  I've also used Joy! Crafts cloud dies to make the clouds, and added a bit of dimension to them with markers.

We have our usual fantastic prize up for grabs this week!  You could win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your creation - the black & white digi, pre-coloured image or paper, or 3 digi images of your choice, if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

What an awesome prize!!

Here are a few close-ups of the smaller details on my card:

PET LOVERS CHRISTMAS CARD 2019 5

This is the 5th in a series of Christmas cards I am making for pet lovers.  I try to keep them as simple and low cost as possible.  They are half the size of my normal cards, so A6.

I've used one of my favourite images from Digi Doodle Studios on this card.  It's called Midnight Prancer.  I used this image 5 times for this series of card last year, colouring it up each time to resemble a different dog.  It's such a fantastically versatile image!  If you'd like to see them, just type 'Prancer' into the search bar on the right.

I've coloured the image with markers and used a brand new Spellbinders die to cut it out.

I've used a Sizzic embossing folder on plain white card for the background, and added two docrafts Papermania glitter dots and one Dress It Up kitty button.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS LUCIA & ICELYN

There is ONE MONTH to go!!!  Eeek, I am nowhere near ready for Christmas!

This beautiful image from Digi Doodle Studios is called Lucia & Icelyn.  I have coloured it with markers, adding in the trees and snowy background.

My papers are from the Studio Light Winter Days pack.  I've added Reeves Modeling Paste around all the edges, as well as onto my tree in the corner.  That tree is a Scrapaholics laser cut.

There's a laser cut wooden snowflake at the top of the card, mounted onto a strip of cheesecloth.  I've sprayed both laser cuts with white Gesso.  I've threaded a snowflake charm onto a thin ribbon and made a bow, and added flowers by Petaloo, 49 and Market, and Prima.  There are also a few Echo Park enamel dots.

There's a wonderful choice of Christmas images available from Digi Doodle Studios.  You can find them here:

All month long we showcase these gorgeous images in our FaceBook group, so if you'd like to see more, pop in for a visit!

We also have our monthly challenge running, but you only have days to go to enter your creation for an opportunity to win Digi Doodles of your own!  The theme this month of course, is:

PET LOVERS CHRISTMAS CARD 2019 3

This is the 3rd in a series of Christmas cards I'm making for pet lovers.  I try to keep them low effort and cost, and they're half the size of my normal cards, so A6.

I've used Purrrfect Together from All Dressed Up on this card.  I have coloured the image with markers and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

My paper is from the Echo Park My Favourite Christmas paper pack.  I love the surprised look on kitty's face, so I decided Santa would be the cause!  Santa is from the same collection as the paper.
