This is Brrrrrr Penguin.  I have coloured the image with markers.

My papers are from the Ciao Bella Time For Home pack.  The sentiment is a Trimcraft Me to You stamp, and I've cut it out with a Spellbinders Fancy Edged Circle set.  I've added a strip of  lace and snowflakes by Jolee's, as well as a few random gems.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #444

Good morning paper crafters!

Some of the older images at The Paper Shelter actually come as a set, and the value for money is astounding!  This adorable giraffe is part of a set called Giraffes on Holiday. It includes 4 different giraffe images, and as usual, The Paper Shelter images include pre-coloured images and paper in the set!

This giraffe is actually meant to be a mummy, and is a Halloween image, but I decided to change him up a little, and use him to make a Get Well Soon card.

As you can see, I blotted out the details on his pumpkin candy bag, added a cross, and changed it into a medical bag.

I coloured the image with markers

My papers and letter tiles are from the Echo Park Fall Is In The Air pack.  The plasters are Merci stickers, and all the other medical goodies are EK Success stickers.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #394: FACE IT!

Good Morning Paper Shelter lovers!

It's Wednesday again, and that means a new challenge, and new opportunity to win fantastic Paper Shelter images!

Our theme for the week is:

🙂FACE IT!🙃

In other words, we would like you to use an image with a human face.

I've gone with Enchantress, because she is dead centre, face-on.  I've cropped the image down so that I could turn her from forest goddess into night-on-the-town beauty.  I just love her outfit!

I've coloured the image with markers and then cut it out with a blade, to match the shape of the frame around her, which is a Make It Crafty laser cut.  I coloured the frame with markers, and then sprayed it with Bo Bunny Glimmer Spray to give it a bit of a sparkle.

My papers and the 3D stickers are from the Bo Bunny Life In Color collection.  I've used Spellbinders dies to cut the papers out.  The beautiful big pendant is Tim Holtz.  I've popped corner gem designs in as well as gems on the image for her buttons.  I've also added a few glittery gel stars, and flowers by 49 and Market and Green Tara.

I have used Octi Sailor - Stitched At Sea on my card.

I've used the following ProMarkers to colour my image:

Border: Powder Blue; Cornflower; Cocoa; Cinnamon; Praline (Brush marker)
Sky: Pastel Blue; Ice Greys 1 & 3; Blender
Brown: Cocoa; Cinnamon; Praline
Ocean & hat blue: French navy; Aegean; Sky Blue
White hat: Warm Greys 1 & 2; Blender
Green: Green; Mint Green; Pastel Green

My papers are from the My Besties Sailor Girl pack.  I've also added a sheet of DCWV corrugated paper, and inked all the edges.  My sentiment has been cut out using a Spellbinders die.  I've added several ocean themed Kaisercraft wood embellishments and Prima Say it in Crystals dots.

I've added two chards to my card.  They are from the Couture Creations Sea Breeze collection.

I've tied off a strip of wispy stuff with a piece of blue and white string, creating a bow shape, and threaded my charms onto the string too.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS PARTY CATS

If you know anything about me, you know I love cats!

This adorable pair is from Digi Doodle Studios.  They're called Party Cats.

I have coloured the image with markers and cut it out using a Creative Dies wonky stitches die.  The two little tags and sentiment oval were also cut with Creative Dies dies.  

My papers are from the First Edition Spring Drop pack.  The green one was cut using a Spellbinders die.  I've inked all my edges.

Other than two bows, which I made with wide sheer ribbon, all I've added to this card are Dress It Up buttons.
