THE PAPER SHELTER CHRISTMAS BREAK CHALLENGE: ANYTHING GOES

Good Morning lovely crafters!

This is our last challenge for 2022!

Our theme for this special challenge is
ANYTHING GOES

This sweet image is called Daisies on my Hat.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a My Favourite Things stamp for the paving she's standing on.  I have then framed her with a Spellbinders die cut.

My papers are from a favourite old paper pack by First Edition, called Desert Blooms.  I've used another Spellbinders die set to shape the papers. and a Poppy Crafts die for the heart.

The lace is 49 and Market and the ribbon is Offray.  I've added Prima flowers and Echo Park enamel dots.

Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize!  Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

Thanks for popping in to see my card!  May you have a blessed Christmas, and may 2023 be a good year for us all.

Linda

THE PAPER SHELTER BLOG HOP 2022: BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

 Good Morning lovely crafters!

Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 12th Birthday on the 8th of December!  This will be a two week challenge, with both teams taking part, and it's our way of thanking The Paper Shelter for sharing their wonderful images with us, and sponsoring our challenge.

The theme for this special challenge is:

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

This is your first stop on the Hop.  Both Design Teams are participating, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter, and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

When I first saw this image, I knew immediately what I wanted to do with her.  She's actually a Halloween image, called Halloween Casual, but I have removed anything Halloween related, so that I could use her for a birthday card.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a My Favourite Things stencil and Distress Ink for the background.

My papers are from the Stamperia Hortensia paper pack.  The sentiment is cut from a Fine It Trading die.
I've added a strip of lace and I Am Roses flowers, plus a few Fancy Pants Designs puffy dots.

From here, you will need to hop on over to Christine's blog.  Don't forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one of the fabulous digis available in store!

Good Luck!  Hope you've enjoyed the Hop so far!

THE CRAFTING CHALLENGE DECEMBER

I have the honour of Guest Designing for The Crafting Challenge this month, and that came with another opportunity to play with a Paper Nest Dolls image.

This adorable image is called Penguin Joy.

I have coloured the image with Copics.

To add to the JOY sentiment, I've typed up a little tag, cut with a Paper Rose Studio die.

My papers are from the DCWV Blue Noel paper pack.  I've added a strip of cheesecloth, flowers by Little Birdie, and glittery snowflakes, also by Little Birdie.

Be sure to pop over to The Crafting Challenge, to see what the rest of the team have created to inspire you this month.

I'd like to thank Manuela and the team for inviting me to play along with them!

Thanks for popping in for a look!
