The image is called Summer Reads. I have coloured the image with markers, then distressed and inked the edges - as I've done with the papers.
I originally went in search of pink papers, but the blend I'd used for the colouring didn't match any of the papers I was drawn to, so I changed direction. My papers are from the KaiserCraft Timeless Classics paper pack.
I've used ribbons from my stash and added a strip of Birch Creative lace. The doily is one from a stash my mother crocheted for me to use on my cards. My flowers are Petaloo.

We're showcasing a fun New Release at Digi Doodle Studios this week, filled with the cutest Halloween images.
This one is called Buffy 'n Friends.
I have coloured the image with markers and then cut it out with a blade, so that I could mount it onto the pretty moon scene behind it.
My papers are from the Hunkydory Twilight Kingdom mini book. I used a marker to draw in the ground beneath the characters.
The two trees are actually one Silhouette image cut on my Cameo. I sliced the image in half to use it on the two sides of my card. I've added a little gem swirl in the corner and two big glitter dots by Ribtex. At that point I considered the card done, but the light green strip across the bottom kept drawing my eyes and making me feel uncomfortable with it's emptiness, so I drew the two spiderwebs in.

I am showcasing one of the gorgeous images from Pattie's Creations, called Succulents with Hanging Vases. I have coloured the image with markers, loosely following the Succulents Kit & Clowder colouring class. I then used a freebie brick stencil and Distress inks to create the background. I had intended on showing the background through the glass vases, but I so loved how boldly they stood out from the background, that I decided not to do it.
My papers are from the13 @rts On The Wall paper pack. They're so soft and subtle, I thought they'd be perfect to allow the image to pop. I've added a ribbon from my stash and used a Papercraft stamp for the sentiment. I've also added three little American Crafts puffy dots.
Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to see what the rest of the team have created for our sponsors this week. Thanks for popping in to see mine!
