PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #441

Hi there crafters!

This image is called Cocoa's Snowballs For Sale.  

I have coloured the image with markers, then distressed and inked the edges, as I've done with the papers on my card.  I've also added Liquid Pearls to the furry parts of their outfits.  My papers are from the Studio Light Winter Feelings pack.  

My flowers are Celebr8 and 49 and Market.  I've added several wooden laser cuts by KaiserCraft, and sprayed them with White Gesso.  I've also added a few pearls.

PENNY'S PAPER-CRAFTY CHALLENGE #440

If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, you're currently getting to feel the sun's warm rays bake down on you, and it's the prefect time to head off to the beach and make the most of it!

I've made a beachy card this week, with one of the images the team is showcasing, from our fantastic sponsor for the week.

My image is called At The Beach.  I have coloured it with markers and added in a bit of a beachy scene behind her.

My papers and tags are from the Bo Bunny Make A Splash pack.  I've distressed and inked all my paper edges..

My flowers are by 49 and Market.  

I chose the lacy edge because the design reminded me of seashells.  It's a Poppy Crafts die cut.  The little beach hut is a Find It Media die cut.

THE PAPER SHELTER SUMMER BREAK CHALLENGE: ANYTHING GOES!

This Challenge and card mark the anniversary of my joining The Paper Shelter team!  I just can't believe I've been with the team for a year now!  Goodness, time flies!

This is our Summer Break challenge and the theme is:

ANYTHING GOES!

This wonderful Summer image is called Have Fun In The Sun.  I have coloured the image with markers and used a Spellbinders die to cut it out, along with the heart paper - not that you can really see the edges of that one!

My papers are from the Authentique Swaddle pack.  My flowers are 49 and Market.  The flippers, waves, tube, goggles and starfish are Twin Seven foam stickers.  I've added a strip of lace and a Bo Bunny die cut doily.

Up for grabs is a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product (black & white digi, pre-coloured image or paper), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of your entries.

PEACOCK MERMAID

This stunning image is from Cute As A Button.  It's called Peacock Mermaid.  

I have coloured the image with markers and added a background from the Kit & Clowder August 2018 markers class.

My papers are from the 49 and Market Island Paradise pack.  I particularly wanted the little turtle that is peeking from behind some coral.

I've used loads of die cuts on this card: For the image and tag: Creative Dies; for the sea horses: Poppy Crafts; for the seaweed, coral, shell, jellyfish and bubbles: Studio Light.

I've added flowers from 49 and Market,  a strip of wispy stuff and a few pearls.

This week we have a really fun theme and a fabulous prize up for grabs!

I have used Martini on my card.  I have used the following ProMarkers:

Skin: Sunkissed Pink; Putty; Almond

Hair: Burnt Sienna; Cinnamon; Sandstone

Eyes: Turquoise; Green; Soft Green

Blue: True Blue; Azure; Arctic Blue; Powder Blue

Shoes & Belt: Cool Greys 3-5

Silver: Ice Greys 1; 3; 5

Purple: Plum; Amethyst; Orchid.  I've also added a few dots of Arctic Blue to the table to give it a mottled effect

Drink: Lime Green; Lime Zest

Ground: Warm Greys 1-4

Background: Pastel Blue; Lemon; Orchid

I have framed the image with a Spellbinders die cut.  My papers are from the Bo Bunny Bee-utiful You pack, and my flowers are Green Tara.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS JENNY POOLSIDE

Nothing quite says SUMMER, like a day at the pool, soaking up the sun!  

This stunning image from Digi Doodle Studios is called Jenny Poolside.  I have coloured the image with markers.

I've used Poppy Crafts dies for the image and sentiment.

My papers are from the Stamperia Baby Boy pack.  I was particularly drawn to the heart paper, because it goes so well with the image.  I have distressed and inked the edges.  

I've added a strip of burlap and flowers from 49 and Market.  The bikini and basket are Birch foam stickers.
