SWEET ESCAPE DIGIS AUDREY WITH A GIFT

I have had the honour of Guest Designing for Sweet Escape Digis for the last few weeks, and this is the last card in the set.

Today I'm showcasing Audrey With A Gift.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a brick stencil by My Favourite Things, and Distress Ink to create the background.  I've then used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to cut it out.

My paper is from the Ciao Bella Modern Times paper pack.  I cut out the tickets and clapper board from one of the pages, to add as embellishments.  The film strips are die cut, using a die by Jenine's Mindful Art Collection by Studio Light.  I've also added a few Echo Park enamel dots.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #493: CHRISTMAS CARD

Good Morning lovely crafters!

Don't panic now, but I'm here to tell you that we only have one month to go until Christmas 😳  I am nowhere near ready!

To kick us into gear, our theme for the week is:
CHRISTMAS CARD

I have used Granny Christmas on my card, and coloured the image with Copics.  I've then used a Creative Dies wonky stitches oval die to cut it out.

My papers and embellishments are from the Studio Light Sending Joy collection.  I've distressed the edges and inked them with Distress Ink.  I've added a strip of Ruby Rock-It lace and a square doily that I found in my stash, that turned out to be the perfect size to frame my paper.  I've also added a few Echo Park enamel dots.

Up for grabs at The Paper Shelter this week is our usual fantastic prize!  Our winner will win a $30 store voucher if you've used a Paper Shelter product on your entry (you could choose the pre-coloured image, the black and white digi, or the digital paper that comes in the set), or 3 digis of your choice, if you've used another brand.  You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, provided you've used a Paper Shelter product on at least one of them.

Thanks for popping in to see my card!

PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #619: HAPPY & THANKFUL

Good Morning crafty friends!

We have a new challenge on the go at Passion for Markers this week  The theme for the week is:

HAPPY & THANKFUL

Whatever brings you joy, whatever brings a smile to your face, or whatever you are thankful to have in your life, that's what we'd like to see this week.

Up for grabs is 3 digi images from our fabulous sponsor

Now, if you know anything about me, you know that I can't stand heat, and I absolutely love the cold!  We made an interstate move a few months ago, specifically so that I could live in a cooler environment, because the heat affects my skin so badly.

I am SO HAPPY & THANKFUL to live in a cooler place!

To show that off, I've used The Most Adorable Snowmen on my card.  I used the following Copics to colour the image:

Snow/snowmen: W4; W3; W2; W1; W0; RV000
Sky: BG000
Red: R59; R29; R27; R24; R22
White: C3; C2; C1; C0
Green: BG13; BG11; BG10
Black: T8; T7; T6; T5
Carrots: E15; YR18; YR16; YR12
Arms & Teddy: E57; E55; E53; E51
Bag: E44; E43; E42; E41
Blue: B99; B97; B95; B93; B91
Silver: C5; C3; C1

I've used a Creative Dies wonky stitches circle to cut out the image, and I've inked the edges with Distress Ink.

My papers are from the Studio Light Sending Joy paper pack.  I've added a strip of lace from my stash.  The snowflakes by The Paper Boutique, and I've used a Find It Trading Precious Marieke die for the corner snowflake swirl.

My flowers are I Am Roses, and the pearls are by The Paper Boutique.

The team are all sharing what brings them happiness, or what they're thankful for, so be sure to check out their blogs.  I'm heading over for a look now too!

COFFEE WITH HER

I don't normally make Clean and Simple cards, but the couple who will be receiving this are 'clean & simple' types.  The card turned out to be a lot more work than it should have been, because it came with a crafting disaster.

I had intended to use an embossed heart sheet behind the image in plain white, but my sandwich got stuck in my eBosser when I sent it through, and no amount of tugging could release it.  I even tried dripping baby oil onto the plates, hoping to lubricate them, and then unscrewed every screw I could find and took the machine apart, but I didn't have the strength to force the gears, and so I have set my machine aside, still gripping the sandwich, for my husband to tackle when he has time.

Short of the embossing folder I wanted to use, I had to come up with a new plan, and chose this sheet from the DCWV French Whites paper pack instead.  I actually love how it turned out.

My image is called Coffee With Her, by Krista Smith.  I coloured the image with Copics and used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out.  (pre-disaster)

Thankfully I have a 2nd embossing machine - a roll-by-hand one, so I was able to die cut my sentiment with that, using a Find IT Trading die.

I've added one little gem in the corner to finish the card off.

Thanks for popping by to have a look!

SWEET ESCAPE DIGIS PERFUME

I have a gorgeous Sweet Escape Digis image to share with you today.  The image is called Perfume, and I have coloured it with Copics.

I've used a Spellbinders die to cut her out and allowed parts of the image to extend beyond the die cut frame.

My papers are from the Dress My Craft Magnolia Hues paper pack.  I've distressed and inked the edges.

I've added a few Echo Park enamel dots and two strips of Birch Creative lace.  There's also a strip of cheesecloth behind the one paper.  My flowers are all from I Am Roses.

DONUT GUY

I do a lot of baking and one of my hubby's friends recently commented on the fact that he hadn't brought any of my biscuits to their workshop recently.  He loves them!  He also loves donuts (which I don't make).

I decided his birthday card should have Cookie Guy from Kenny K on it.

I coloured the image with Copics and used a freebie stencil and Distress Ink for the brick wall.

My papers are from the Ciao Bella Collateral Rust paper pack.  I've added a few Prima 'screws', and a strip of twine.

The 'happy birthday' is a Make It Crafty laser cut and the donuts are Jolee's.

Thanks for popping in for a look today!

SWEET ESCAPE DIGIS CRUELLA

I have the honour of Guest Designing for Sweet escape Digis for the next few weeks, and this week I'm showcasing Cruella.

I have coloured the image with Copics, and 'inked' around the image with Copics too.

My papers are from the Ciao Bella The Muse paper pack.  I've distressed the edges of two.

I've added KaiserCraft and Green Tara flowers and clumped a few stamens in the flower cluster.  I've also added a strip of lace from my stash, and three Echo Park enamel dots.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #491: BOOKMARK

Good Morning lovely crafters!

We have such a fun challenge at The Paper Shelter this week!  We'd like you to make a
BOOKMARK

I had a look through all the images in store, for those that had anything to do with books or reading, and chose Hammock Days for my bookmark.

I have used the pre-coloured image in the set, as well as the digital paper from the set, reversing the pre-coloured image for the back of the bookmark, and placing it on a different section of the digital paper.

I've edged the bookmark with a nice thick black line, and chosen two famous quotes about reading, one by Walt Disney ad one by one of my favourite authors, Stephen King.  I've used one on the front of the bookmark and one on the back.

I use pre-coloured images so rarely, that it actually felt a bit like cheating, but this was wonderfully quick to complete.

Thanks for popping in to see my project!
