JET SKI JOEL

I've created a centre opening card for one of my husband's friends, who obviously enjoys jet skiing.

The jet skiing silhouette was cut on my Cricut using Design Space. My papers are from the Your Next Stamps Summer Plaid pack. The sentiment is a Find It Trading die cut. I've added a few corner gems.

I decided to keep this card plain and simple (tough for me!) because last year's card for him was quite involved, and I wanted to do something completely different. It's also rare I make a card without any colouring!

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NEW RELEASE: OLIVER UNDER THE WEATHER

This week there's a New Release of Get Well Soon images happening at Digi Doodle Studios.

This cutie is called Oliver Under The Weather. The sentiment is also part of the new release.

I have coloured the image with markers, cut him out and then glued him onto the striped background.

My papers are all from the PhotoPlay About A Little Boy paper pack. I've used a Paper Rose banner die for the sentiment. I've added several Dress It Up buttons, a lollipop Jolee's sticker, a teeny Little Birdie plaster, and two large Merci plasters.

PASSION FOR PROMARKERS CHALLENGE #555: FLOWER POWER

Good Morning wonderful Promarker lovers!

This week our lovely Elaine has chosen your theme. She'd like you to colour or add a flower. Our theme for the week:

FLOWER POWER

Up for grabs this week is a 3 pack of Neon Promarkers and a bleedproof pad.

Many years ago, I bought a whole bunch of images from Wee Stamps. Thankfully Sylvia Zet's images are now available from Whimsy Stamps, and you can find this adorable cutie there. The image is called Peace.

I have used the following Pro & Brushmarkers to colour this image:

Skin: Coral; Oatmeal; Blush

Lips: Rose Pink

Hair: Burnt Sienna; Praline

Brown: Burnt Sienna; Praline; Champagne

Eyes: Sky Blue; Cloud Blue

Blue: Midnight Blue; Cobalt Blue; Denim Blue; Powder Blue

Purple: Purple; Amethyst; Lilac

Pink:Mulberry; Fuchsia Pink; Blossom

Green: Forest Green; Apple

I've used a white gel pen for highlights and a pink gel pen for her peace sign.

My papers are from the KaiserCraft Lilac Whisper paper pack.

I've used several dies for this card:
Spellbinders for the background paper and Image frame; Poppy Crafts for the stitched oval; Creative Dies for the tag; Bo Bunny for the doily; Paper Rose for the wheat border.

I've inked all my edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and sponged a dash of Milled Lavender around the image.

I've added a piece of cheesecloth and KaiserCraft flowers.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS NEW RELEASE DR JOLINE

We have a sweet new release going on at Digi Doodle Studios this week, perfect for all those Get Well Soon cards we all have to make.

The image is called Dr. Joline. The sentiments are also part of this New Release.

I have coloured the image with markers and then cut her out with a blade. I wanted to keep this card design fairly clean and simple, so that I could use this fabulous sticker set by Jolee's.

My paper is from the A Whisper of Autumn paper pack by The Paper Boutique.

I've used a set of Paper Rose banner dies for the two little tags, and I've added a little pre-made bow from my stash.

DIGI DOODLE STUDIOS SERAPHINA

This fun image from Digi Doodle Studios, is called Seraphina.

I have coloured the image with markers and the cut her out with a blade, leaving a small border around her, so I could include the little swirls at the top, her eyelashes and the bird's head feathers.

My papers are from the Fabric Decoru Shabby Memory paper pack. The bricks and scribble ring are Celebr8 laser cuts. I have sprayed them with white Gesso.

I've used a Paper Rose banner die for the sentiment and added two weeny pearls. The other pearl designs are Bella! Bling. Finally, I've added a few roses, but wanted to keep them white, so that only the image is bright and bold.

PAPER NEST DOLLS BOHO AVERY

I am definitely a little Bohemian in my heart. I'm not into dreamcatchers and beads, but I love the clothing style, the natural fabrics and the natural tones.

This cutie is called BoHo Avery.

I have coloured the image with markers and then cut her out with a blade and glued her onto a woodgrain paper panel.

My papers are from the KaiserCraft Gypsy Rose, and the Bo Bunny Charmed paper packs.

I've added a strip of lace from my stash, a few pearls and 49 and Market flowers. The gorgeous little burlap bag is Little Birdie, and I thought it matched the theme of the image perfectly.
