PASSION FOR MARKERS CHALLENGE #578: CELEBRATION!

 Good Morning lovely crafters!

It's time for another fun challenge at Passion for Markers, and this week our lovely Karen has chosen your theme.  She's like to see your CELEBRATION creations this week.

I've used a fabulous male character on my card, called Henry - Why Not.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Spellbinders die to cut him out.

My papers are from a brand new paper pack that arrived in a super crafty order today:  Echo Park Magical Birthday Boy.  The little tags and Birthday sentiment are part of the pack.  'Let's celebrate' is a laser cut from Make It Crafty, which I have coloured with a black marker.  I've also added 3 Prima Say it in Crystals dots.

PAPER NEST DOLLS AVERY WITH HEARTS

 I have a Valentine's Day card to share with you today.

The image is called Avery With Hearts.

I have coloured the image with Copics and then used a wonky stitches tag die by Creative Dies to cut her out.  

My papers are all from the Stamperia Flower Alphabet paper pack.  I've distressed and inked all the edges.    Between layers, I've added strips of Birch lace and there's some cheesecloth behind the image.  

I've used a mix of flowers by I Am Roses and 49 and Market, and added a few pearl swirls.  The gorgeous border at the top is a Scrapaholics laser cut, which I've sprayed with white Gesso.

 Welcome crafters!  It's time for a new challenge at Penny's, and we have a super prize up for grabs from

I have used Faithful Friends on my card.

I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Poppy Crafts die to cut it out.

My papers are from one of my oldest packs: Sweet Owl by First Edition.  I've added an Apple Blossom die cut flourish heart and a a Bo Bunny die cut doily.

The strip of lace is by Birch and the jute bow is Crafty Bitz.  My flowers are all from I Am Roses.  I've finished off with a few little pearls.

Our new challenge has kicked off on the Cute As A Button Challenge Blog, and this month, the team have the theme of RED; PINK AND/OR WHITE  You are welcome to follow the theme along with us, but it is optional, so don't let it hold you back from entering the challenge.

I've decided to go with PINK & WHITE

I've used a beautiful image called Love Letter.  I've flipped the image to face the other way - just for fun, and I've coloured it with Copics.

My papers are from the Authentique Swaddle paper pack.  I've added a strip of cheesecloth and 3 Anna Belle swirls.  My flowers are from I Am Roses and I've added a few pearls.  The sentiment is from a Crafti Potential stamp and die set.

We're back with a new challenge at Digi Doodle Studios, with a nice, easy theme for the month:

INCLUDE A SENTIMENT

I've used one of January's New Release fairies, called Tiana.

I have coloured her with Copics.

My papers are from the First Edition Sweet Owl paper pack.  It's one of the gorgeous oldies in my stash.  

The sentiment is part of a freebie Lavinia stamp set from an old magazine.  They've been stamped onto little Bo Bunny die cut tags, and finished off with a little bow from ribbon in my stash.  

My flowers are a mix of Green Tara and I Am Roses.  I've also added a strip of lace.

THE PAPER SHELTER CHALLENGE #454: HAPPY BIRTHDAY

 We have a fun new challenge starting at The Paper Shelter today!  Our theme for the week is:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

It couldn't get any easier than that!

I've created a groovy card using Charmingly Hippie.  I wanted to give her an 'updated' look, but keep my card psychedelic and fun.

I've coloured the image with Copics.

I have two different paper packs, perfect for an image with a hippie theme, but I had already coloured her before I pulled them out, and neither looked good with her, so I pulled out one of my oldest paper packs for this one: DCWV Nana's Kids.  The colours were exactly what I was looking for.  

I've added a flower strip and a peace sign from one of my original paper pack choices: Groovy Kit by Ella & Viv.

My giant sentiment is die cut using dies from two different Crafti Potential stamp & die kits.  My flowers are 49 and Market.

I was surprised at how hard it was to put this card together.  The background paper is so bold, it was hard to find flowers that didn't clash too badly, or get lost.   I'm quite happy with the end result though.

I have used Wild About Flowers on my card.  I have coloured the image with Copics and used a Creative Dies wonky stitches die to frame her.  I've also inked around her with Distress Ink.

My papers are from the DCWV Honey Chic Stack.  I've used the same Creative Dies die for the pink paper and a Paper Rose banner for the floral paper.  My sentiment is from a die and stamp set by Crafti Potential.

I decided to use buttons and a bow.  The buttons are from my stash and the ribbon is Offray.  I've also added a few I Am Roses flowers.
